Material & Care

The lightweight yet extremely durable recycled nylon is certified according to the Global Recycled Standard. In addition to a water-repellent impregnation, a PFC- and PFAS-free coating provides reliable protection against moisture and gives the material a highly functional, weather-resistant surface. Furthermore, we use special water-repellent high-performance threads. The zippers are treated with a water-repellent finish. The Aquaguard zippers by YKK are made from recycled PET. The leather details on the non-vegan styles are made from sustainably tanned premium cowhide leather and come from an LWG-certified tannery. This style is handmade with care. Regular audits based on the SA8000 social standard ensure that the working conditions along the supply chain meet international standards. As a member of the Leather Working Group (LWG), we voluntarily commit to responsible leather production - for a conscious approach to people and nature. We source our leather from tanneries that are certified by the LWG. This means: strictly tested eco-standards, reduced emissions and careful use of resources such as water and energy.
