Backpacks with a roll closure
Our rolltop backpacks close at the top with a height-adjustable roll closure: whenever you need more volume, simply roll it down a little less. Kiso RE, Tama RE and Yunoko RE also give you two ways into the main compartment. A wraparound two-way zip opens it from the back, so you can reach items further down without opening the rolltop. With up to 5 litres, Kiso RE is the most compact model for the essentials. Tama RE holds up to 12 litres, has a padded laptop compartment for up to 13 inches and fits A4. Tokachi RE offers a little more space with up to 14 litres, also with a 13-inch compartment, plus a side slip pocket for a bottle or umbrella and a small zip pocket. At up to 23.4 litres, Yunoko RE is the largest of the four: it takes a laptop up to 16 inches, has pockets on both sides for a water bottle or small umbrella and is the only model with a chest strap. Inside, zip pockets, pen loops and a key strap keep things organised on all four.

Comfortable to carry, well protected
The ergonomically padded back panel and adjustable padded shoulder straps make longer journeys comfortable. Whether you're travelling light or carrying a little more than usual, the volume can be adjusted. The nylon, certified to the Global Recycled Standard (GRS), is lightweight, durable and doesn't show marks easily, even in pale colours. A water-repellent finish and a PFAS-free coating provide additional protection against moisture. The leather appliqués give the models the signature a/u look.

Toploader: backpacks that open from the top
A toploader is a backpack you pack from the top. It opens wide, so you can reach straight in and see everything at a glance. This makes packing quick and easy, even with bulky items such as a jacket, sports kit or spontaneous grocery shopping. Our new toploaders come in two sizes: Mikuni RE with around 11 litres for everyday city life and Nojiri RE with around 20 litres for those who carry more. Both feature a main compartment with a two-way zip and a separate laptop compartment behind it. Inside, a mesh pocket with key strap, slip pockets and pen holders keep things organised, while a front zip pocket keeps small items within easy reach. Side pockets take a water bottle or small umbrella.
