Yamakuni RE is the perfect companion for you, especially if you are often out and about on your bike or scooter. The spacious messenger bag combines a sporty design with practical everyday functionality for wind and weather. The main compartment closes under the flap with a practical 2-way zipper. It features a large zipper pocket, a padded notebook compartment, various insert pockets, pen holders and a key strap. Yamakuni RE has additional zipper pockets under the flap and on the back. The rainproof crossbody bag is made from recycled nylon, which is characterized by its low weight and exceptional durability. The shoulder strap with extra shoulder padding ensures a secure fit and comfortable carrying, so that nothing pinches or slips, even on quick trips through the city.

The lightweight yet durable recycled nylon is certified according to the Global Recycled Standard. In addition to a water-repellent finish, a PFC- and Specially developed a/u REnuno fabric for the Japan RE series by a/u by aunts & uncles: PFAS-free coating reliably protects against moisture and gives the material a highly functional, weather-resistant surface. We also use special water-repellent high-performance yarn. The YKK Racquet Coil zippers have a water-repellent coating. The leather details of the non-vegan styles are made from sustainably tanned premium cowhide and come from an LWG-certified tannery. The a/u lining is made from recycled polyester. care advice

This style is handmade with care. Our manufacturing facilities are audited according to Amfori BSCI or SMETA. We continuously work on increasing the transparency of our supply chain. As a member of the Leather Working Group (LWG), we voluntarily commit to responsible leather production - for a conscious approach to people and nature. We source our leather from tanneries that are certified by the LWG. This means: strictly tested eco-standards, reduced emissions and careful use of resources such as water and energy.
