European premium leather is tanned in an LWG Gold Rated tannery in India. Over time, it develops a natural patina.
CARE
- Do not use any care products at first, to support the development of the patina
- Oils and waxes already protect the leather naturally
- In heavy rain or when dirty, additionally use a wax-based waterproofing spray for open-pored genuine leather
- If the leather becomes lighter and brittle over time, apply leather grease suitable for open-pored hides

This style is carefully handmade. Our production facilities are audited according to amfori BSCI or SMETA. aunts & uncles is a member of the Leather Working Group (LWG). Independent LWG audits assess factors at the tanneries including energy and water consumption, wastewater treatment and chemical management.
