Kitakami RE is made from recycled nylon, which is rainproof, lightweight and also extremely robust. The two-compartment backpack has an adjustable main compartment with a practical roll-top closure and another main compartment with an all-round zipper. Various insert pockets, a padded compartment for a notebook, pen holders, a removable extra pouch and a key strap keep the inside organized and tidy. The crossed straps made from sustainably tanned premium leather give the spacious business backpack an unmistakable look. Front and rear buckles allow the roll-top to be attached flexibly. An ergonomically shaped back padding ensures a comfortable fit.

Material & Care
The lightweight yet extremely durable recycled nylon is certified to the Global Recycled Standard. In addition to a water-repellent impregnation, a PFAS free coating provides reliable protection against moisture and gives the material a highly functional, water-repellent surface. We also use special high-performance threads that do not absorb water. The zippers are water-repellent impregnated. The Aquaguard zippers from YKK are made from recycled PET. The leather applications of the non-vegan styles are made from sustainably tanned premium cowhide. care advice

This style is handmade with care. Regular audits based on the SA8000 social standard ensure that the working conditions along the supply chain meet international standards. As a member of the Leather Working Group (LWG), we voluntarily commit to responsible leather production - for a conscious approach to people and nature. We source our leather from tanneries that are certified by the LWG. This means: strictly tested eco-standards, reduced emissions and careful use of resources such as water and energy.
