Minimalist & spacious: Whether at the farmers market, the outdoor pool or on a spontaneous weekend trip, our Market Totes offer maximum storage space while being not only the more stylish, but also the more sustainable alternative to the conventional shopping bag. Enormous amounts of high-quality materials are wasted worldwide. For Hatsukaichi and Fujinomiya we use surplus a/u-WABIkawa fabric that would otherwise go unused. That is why these styles are only available in selected colours and limited quantities exclusively in our shop.

a/u-WABIkawa fabric – developed exclusively for our Japan Line

The outer material is made from densely woven canvas. Combed fibres from GOTS-certified organic cotton ensure increased durability. A soft PFAS-free coating gives the styles water-repellent properties and a leather-like appearance. This is a special vintage PU coating that polishes itself through friction during use. The YKK zippers are water-resistant coated. The premium cowhide leather applications come from an LWG-certified tannery.
